Elizabeth has had a passion (some would say obsession) with fruits and vegetables since a very young age. Her love of cooking took a decidedly more serious turn during her year studying in Aix-en-Provence, France, where she spent most of her free time in open-air markets. After obtaining her bachelor's degree in French from Wellesley College, she spent time working in publishing, including three years at America's Test Kitchen. She graduated valedictorian from the Professional Chef's Program at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, where she also received the Julia Child Award. She started her own business to share her passion for locally and sustainably raised food. When she’s not in front of the stove, she can be found on a bike or buried in a book.

Elizabeth is a proud and active member of Slow Food Boston and is ServSafe certified.
